With TMS Search MobiTMS has broken the barrier of the “Mobile application Download” and offer a 2D barcodes interoperability

A mobile subscriber can use TMS by just going to www.TMSsearch.com (Google like) with his phone web browser (web icon) and enter a TMS Code associated to a barcode.

This “exclusive MobiTMS” solution (which does not require the download of a phone application) is accessible to Worldwide Internet mobile users with no restriction

TMS Search was developed to be used also as a web widget and Social network application (try it in Facebook). The TMS Search application offers Social users the ability to preview a Barcode content, to reference a barcode and to send the associated link direct to a phone.

The same mobile subscriber can also use the TMS mobile barcode reader to scan the 2D barcode and access the page. (It’s the same model as the Japan QR codes).

The 2D barcode solution is already a large success in Japan where the SMS is not really used. People in this country are already educated to download and use applications in there phones (DOCOMO provide a special mobile open OS for embed applications).

Our experience has shown where SMS is predominantly used the TMS Code and the browser solution (which is very close to the SMS premium experience) is the way to access for people “Normobs” (Normal Mobile Users) who don’t want, can’t or don’t know how to download the application on there phone (or to show them the benefits of the service with some initial campaigns, before asking them to download an application).
